Start 8:45am, at km-marker 85 on rd./track 67c, at Oasi settlement. 3c, overc. and l. wind.
Finish 18:20pm. At "Targu Jui 52km" on rd.66/E79 at exit of Petrosani. 6c, half clear and same.

- The first stage in wr2 I can truely be proud of :-)
Two mountainpasses cleared (the first one "closed" by snow and a recent rockslide). Navigation by rivers, 2 lakes, mountain peak positions and sun. The roadsigns were more or less useless and didnt match anything on my map - or their bearing on my map.

But I got through :-)

Running w. 25kg stroller and keeping it a run every step: when the snow was too high or mud slowed me to walk - stop, 5meters back, pace up and on it again; not enough - then 10meters back and plow through fast enough to keep running. (it may be stupid stubboness but.. it also keeps you warm. Walking in these conditions lower the bodytemperature, wich is somethingto be avoided since it can begin hyperthermia; cold mud and snow up the legs and in shoes also requires a higher temp. kept).

There was, obviously, some views to be seen. I have sent them to my webmaster Kasper and hope he can get them on the web/gallery. They should be worth a visit !

Many stop-and-starts, navigation and positioning meant a long tot.time but I'm down now and in 1piece.

I've found a little local motel just out of town. 22euro. I'm washed and they are showing The Good, The Bad and the Ugly on national tv.
I am satisfied :-)
