Start 08:50am., at police controlpoint at exit to Idfu on main rd. to Aswan. 22c, clear and l. wind. Finish 10:58am., at rock canyon on main rd. to Aswan(please see gps ). 35c and same.

Ravine hotel..

Was quite exhausted today and siezed the chance to set the tent when I after 20km saw an area where there were no locals around to haress.

On the other hand that meant dragging the heavy stroller 200meter up in a rock canyon where I could squeeze in the tent betwennen the boulders.

A pack of wild dogs came by sundown and later a few howling jackals. But; it could be worse :-)... its snake & scorpion habitat now...
