Start 08:30am. at city monument "Chama da Unidade" at roundabout at S. end of Mocimboa da Praia on the main road to Nampulo.23c, half oc. and l. wind. Finish 11:34am. At blue citysign "Mumu" on rd.243 to Nampula. 36c, v. humid and same.

Change of supply-drivers as I head into a new region of Mozambique. Chaia is the new driver for hopefully the long streatch to Nampulo !

The landscape changes a bit as I now run slightly inland.
.. A burnt off' look to it; brownish & ashgrey coleurs dominate the landscape and tiny villages of straw- and clayhuts.
