Start 9:28am. at white farm sign "Thorneycroft, Newcombe" on the R72. 24c, o.c. and l. wind. Finish 13:09pm. At green exitsign "R332 Uitenhage ->" on the N2 to Cape Town. 27c, almost clear and same.

Another enjoyable day w. Great support by my hosts in Pt. Elizabeth, Darrell and Evy, who has more than 20years experiense as trail race organizors (the Rhodes Race and "Bavians Trail"). So you can imagine I had excellent crewing !!

Also very good company by Peter who besides beeing an ironman triathlete is an expert on S. A. trails (and gave a lecture on the "scree" gravel surfaces ;-)

Looking MUCH forward to Cape Town as Im seriously fatigued by now. Should only be 800km !!
