I've got my visa now. The motivation is flowing back hour by hour !!

And to add, new contacts in the USA are offering their support and the hope to meet old friends and running-contacts pushes the energy up again.
Also a possible sponsor for the support-car is getting into detailed negotiations.

I celebrate with a 5km tempo-test. Ok, its not what most runner would call fast - but its what I can do with 32 000km in the legs ;-) And I ENJOYED IT :-)))) Remembering during the fast paced parts how it was, 10, 20, 25 years back to take part in competetions, youth championships, national championships; later world championships (ultrarunning). Its still such a THRILL to feel the body working at its MAX, every part pushing in sync' to reach maximum performance :-) I still havent lost the love of running after all these years... !
