Start 06:40am. at exit sign "<- Lituba Lodge", on the main road to Lavumisa border/S. Africa. 24c, almost clear and l. wind.Finish 11:49am. At white sign "The Bend Inn" in Big Bend city, 3km off the main road to Lavumisa border/S. Africa. 37c and same.

Another fun-filled stage where the stroller punctured happily at any given chance ;-)

That I made it through todays run is much to the credit of Sarah who motivated me when I had just around had enough of 40kg to be pushed while running another day through hot, humid and hilly terrain.

To add to my level of spirit we ended up tenting yesterday evening, in tall grass, prompting bypassing locals to ask: "Are you not afraid of the snakes here ??". To wich Sarah firmly answered "NO."

- It may be her australian heritage wich makes her handle the conditions w. such ease :-)
