Start 11:15am., 11c, overcast & l.wind, at green bridge-sign "Puente Juan Soldado" on hwy.5. Finish 15:02pm., 18c, clear & same, at green km-marker "km 535" on hwy.5.

U-FO - or I imagine ? ;-)

After an uneventfull run, though w. a long & scenic climb 500m. upwards, I finished the stage in a valley apparently known for its 'alien sightings'. It will be an interesting night tenting in the middle of the plain !

...Though I must say that I believe that if there were 'aliens' they would surely be intelligent enough to know how to communicate - else it would be somewhat of a long journey to make ;-) But Alex and I, who share an interest in anstonomy, had a very good talk about more conventional astronomical subjects !

Nb: As we have limited internetaccess here in the mountains the pic. & gps-track will be uploaded when near the first city in about 5days.
