:-)

Finally a stage on length w. what I did on ave. in the first world run (2004-2005; 26232km) - I guess it shows that running outside the 'western world' adds that much expedition-element to the run that what is an fairly easy distance becomes a rare fight to do ! But nonetheless Enjoyable :-)

Btw. last nights campingground was one of the more interesting one: a huge plain at 500m. alt. set amongst mountains on all sides - and w. locals claiming they freqvently have "alien sightings" ...in order to have a calm night I decide that they by "aliens" mean "forreigners and not more exotic things a bit further away than Europe, N. America or Asia ;-))

On some of the mountaintops we could spot huge astronomical telescopecomplexes and we are entering the heartland' of astronomical observatories as we now approach the Atacama Desert.

Nb: Pic. & gps-track will be uploaded in a few days as we have very limited internet access here amongst the mountains !
